Listen we’ve all done this search, “what are the best family-friendly Christmas movies on Amazon Video?” or “best Christmas movie on Netflix” … so whatever streaming service you use, we often search by our provider plus Christmas movies to enjoy with our family.

Christmas is a holiday that most people spend with those they love. One of the things that bring families together during the season is watching Christmas movies, films that remind you of the joy of the season and its true meaning. Don’t miss these family-friendly Christmas movies.

“Elf”

Starring actor Will Ferrell as a Christmas elf who heads to New York City to meet his father, the movie “Elf” is sure to put you and your family in the Christmas spirit. Appropriate for the entire family but with a slight amount of crude humor, such as burping and eating ABC gum, this flick has moments that those of all ages will find funny.

Along with the sweet and clever moments that this film offers, it also has a heartwarming message about love and the Christmas spirit. “Elf” is a lighthearted movie with brightly colored Christmas apparel and warm winter hats like the ones sold on the Livnfresh site to help you display your love of being a Michigan resident.

“The Grinch Who Stole Christmas”

Everyone knows the animated film “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.” If you’re a parent, it’s likely that you’ve shown this movie to your kids since the moral of the story is that the spirit of Christmas has nothing to do with presents and everything to do with love and what’s really important in life. During the film, the Grinch decides to steal Christmas from the Whos in Whoville because they are happy and he is not. Basically, the Grinch embodies the saying “Misery loves company” and attempts to make the Whos as miserable as he is.

On Christmas Eve, the Grinch dresses up as Santa Claus and outfits his cute dog in an antler to give him the look of a reindeer and spends the night stealing the presents from the Whos in Whoville. He believes that by taking their presents, he’ll be able to stop Christmas from coming. After his successful present raid, he waits for the Whos to cry and be upset, but instead, the Whos gather around the town square’s Christmas tree, holding hands and singing. It was then that the Grinch discovered the true meaning of Christmas, and this increases the size of his heart by three sizes. In stealing the Christmas presents, he definitely took apparel pieces like the Michigan ones that you can get from Livnfresh.

“Miracle on 34th Street”

In “Miracle on 34th Street,” the audience is persuaded to believe in Santa Claus. After the Cole’s Department Store is forced to fire its Thanksgiving parade Santa because he is drunk, the store’s special events director, Dorey Walker, must find a new Santa Claus fast. She notices an older man with a nice white beard walking down the street and begs him to be the parade’s Santa. When she asks him his name, he introduces himself as Kris Kringle.

Kris does such a good job portraying the parade’s Santa Claus that Dorey asks him to be the store’s Santa for the season. He agrees and the children who visit him in the store start to believe that he is the real Santa Claus. The only child who doesn’t believe in him is Dorey’s daughter Susan. Dorey asks Kris Kringle to babysit Susan one night, and the little girl tells him what’s on her Christmas list. It includes things like a house, a dad and a baby brother. Kris asks her if she receives these things for Christmas, would she believe in Santa Claus. Susan tells him that she would.

With Kris Kringle as its store Santa, Cole’s sells more merchandise than ever, but one night, Kris Kringle is arrested for assaulting someone. Naturally, he was set up by Cole’s competitor, which is Shopper’s Express. During the court case, it becomes clear to Kris’s lawyer that to win, he must prove that Santa Claus could exist. Susan helps him with this seemingly herculean task, convincing the judge to rule that it’s possible to believe in someone without hard evidence that they exist. On Christmas Day, Santa Claus makes Susan believe in him by making sure that she receives everything on her list. This movie is a reminder of how important it is to believe.
